Abstract

Požar, pojava nekontrolirane vatre, postao je svjetska svakodnevica. Ugroženost pojedinih područja varira, a iako su klimatske promjene danas vrlo prisutne i ponekad uzrok pojave požara, ljudski čimbenik je glavni i najčešći. Posljedice požara otvorenog prostora mogu se podijeliti na direktne i indirektne. Direktne posljedice vezane su za fizikalna, kemijska i mikrobiološka svojstva tla, a indirektne se manifestiraju kroz promjenu izgleda okoliša, pojave erozije vjetrom i vodom te općenito posljedice koje ti procesi nose sa sobom. Osim na svojstva tla, požar ima utjecaja i na kvalitetu vode kako za piće (čovjeku) tako za održavanje životinjskog i biljnog svijeta. Najučinkovitija metoda sprječavanja takvog narušavanja ekosustava je preventivno provođenje agrotehničkih zahvata.

Abstract (english)

Wildfire, the appearance of uncontrolled fire, has become an everyday occurrence in the world. The vulnerability of certain areas varies, and although climate change is very present today and is sometimes the cause of wildfires, the human factor is the main and most common. The consequences of an open wildfire can be divided into direct and indirect. The direct consequences are related to the physical, chemical and microbiological properties of the soil, and the indirect ones are manifested through changes in the appearance of the environment, the occurrence of wind and water erosion and in general the consequences that these processes bring with them. In addition to soil properties, wildfire also has an impact on water quality for both drinking (human) and for the maintenance of fauna and flora. The most effective method of preventing such ecosystem disturbances is the preventive implementation of agrotechnical interventions.
