Abstract

Nagle klimatske promjene, uzrokovane različitim aspektima čovjekovog razvoja predstavljaju sve veći problem na globalnoj razini. Način života uzrokovao je i promjene u hidrološkom ciklusu vode, u vidu izmjene kišnih i suhih razdoblja. Zeleno plava infrastruktura predstavlja sustav pogodan za implementaciju tehnika i praksi održive odvodnje, stvarajući ekološki prihvatljive, održive i ugodne prostore. Sustavi održive odvodnje svojim fizikalnim i biološkim procesima utječu na pročišćavanje vode i omogućavaju njeno ponovno korištenje ili infiltraciju u ostala vodna tijela ili tlo. Mediteran u ovom kontekstu predstavlja jedinstveni ekološki sustav, koji je zbog svoje geomorfologije jako osjetljiv na hidrološke promjene. U ovom radu istražuju se tehnike sustava održive odvodnje: zeleni krovovi, kišni vrtovi, biljni pročišćivači i propusna opločenja, te kroz uspješne primjere u svijetu, opisuje se njihovo korištenje u urbanim područjima. Analizom prednosti i mana odabranih tehnika predlaže se njihova moguća primjena u gradu Novalji, na otoku Pagu.

Abstract (english)

Sudden climate change, caused by various aspects of human development, is a growing problem globally. The lifestyle also caused changes in the hydrological cycle of the water, in the form of changes in the rainy and dry periods. Green-blue infrastructure is a system suitable for the implementation of sustainable drainage techniques and practices, creating environmentally friendly, sustainable and comfortable recreational spaces. Sustainable drainage systems, through their physical and biological processes, treatment the water and allow its reuse or infiltration into other water bodies or soil. In this context, the Mediterranean is a unique ecological system, which, due to its geomorphology, is very sensitive to hydrological changes. This paper explores the techniques of sustainable drainage systems such as green roofs, rain gardens, constructed wetlands and permeable pavements, and through successful examples in the world, describes their use in urban areas. The analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the selected techniques suggests their possible application in the City of Novalja on Island of Pag.
