Abstract

Ambrozija je jedan od najznačajnijih korova u poljoprivrednoj proizvodnji. Biljka
godišnje proizvede veliku količinu sjemena koje dugo zadržavaju svoju klijavost. Važno je
učinkovito suzbijanje ambrozije kako bi se njena populacija svela na tolerantnu razinu. Dobre
rezultate pokazala je kombinacija mehaničkog i kemijskog suzbijanja ove biljke.
Cilj ovog istraživanja je istražiti mogućnost primjene lasera male izlazne snage u svrhu
deaktivacije potencijala klijavosti ambrozije. Korišteno sjeme je tretirano trima laserima
različite maksimalne snage (100 mW, 200 mW i 500 mW) u tri različite duljine trajanja
tretmana (10 s, 30 s i 60 s).
Na temelju rezultata ovog istraživanja zaključujemo kako laserski tretman može
izazvati smanjenje energije klijanja i ukupne klijavosti sjemena ambrozije.

Abstract (english)

Ambrosia is known as one of the most problematic weeds in agricultural production.
The plant annually produces a large number of seeds that retain their germination for a long
time. It is important to effectively control ragweed to reduce its population to a tolerable level.
A combination of mechanical and chemical control of this plant has shown good results.
The goal of this research was to use a laser to deactivate the Ambrosia germination
potential. The seed used was treated with three lasers of different output power (100 mW,
200 mW and 500 mW) during three different treatment periods (10 s, 30 s and 60 s).
Based on the results of this research, we can conclude that laser treatment can have a
negative impact on ragweed seeds in the form of reduced germination energy and total
germination.
