Abstract

Facelija (Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth.) je biljna vrsta koja je kod nas relativno malo istražena, a porijeklom iz Amerike, Kalifornije. U Europu je introducirana početkom 19. stoljeda. Strana literatura ukazuje da sjeme facelije (Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth.) karakterizira određeni stupanj dormantnosti. Dobro je poznato da na dormantnost sjemena utječu brojni vanjski čimbenici od kojih temperatura često ima najvažniju ulogu. Glavni cilj ovog diplomskog rada je pradenje dinamike klijavosti... More odnosno gubitka dormantnosti sjemena facelije u pravilnim (određenim) vremenskim intervalima nakon žetve. Rezultati istraživanja prikazani su kroz tri parametra: ukupnu klijavost, energiju klijanja i prosječno vrijeme klijanja sjemena Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth. Neposredno nakon žetve veliki udio sjemena bilo je dormantan. Temperatura skladištenja značajno je utjecala na ukupnu klijavost i energiju klijanja sjemena facelije. Vedi gubitak dormantnosti sjemena facelije utvrđen je kod skladištenja pri temperaturi od 20°C u odnosu na skladištenje pri 5°C. Broj dana skladištenja bio je značajan izvor varijabilnosti za ukupnu klijavost, energiju klijanja kao i prosječno vrijeme klijanja sjemena facelija. Povedanjem broja dana skladištenja povedavala se ukupna klijavost sjemena. Međutim, utvrđena je signifikantnost interakcije temperatura skladištenja × broj dana skladištenja što ukazuje da je reakcija sjemena facelije na istraživane temperature skladištenja (5°C i 20°C) bila različita kod različitog broja dana skladištenja. Kod sjemena koje je skladišteno 14, 28, 42 i 56 dormantnost sjemena brže se smanjivala pri temperaturi skladištenja od 20°C u odnosu na 5°C, dok je 70-og i 98-og dana skladištenja klijavost bila slična pri obje temperature skladištenja. Potpuni gubitak dormantnosti sjemena utvrđen je ved 56-og dan pri temperaturi skladištenja 20°C, dok je pri temperaturi skladištenja od 5°C bilo potrebno 70 dana skladištenja. Less

Phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth.) is relatively unknown and information’s about this species in our environment are limited. This species originally from America arrived in Europe in the 19th century. The foreign literature suggests that seed of the phacelia (Phacelia tanacetifolia Benth.) is characterized by a certain degree of dormancy. More aim of this graduate thesis is to monitor the dynamics of germination or the loss of plant seeds' dormancy at regular (specified) time intervals after harvest. Immediately after harvest Phacelia seed was dormant. The storage temperature significantly influenced the total germination and germination energy. A greater loss of seed dormancy was found at a storage temperature of 20 °C compared to storage at 5 °C. The storage period was a significant source of variability for total germination, germination energy, and mean time germination. As storage of seed was longer, the total seed germination increased. However, the significance of interaction storage temperature × storage period for seed germination indicate that the response to the storage temperature (5 ° C and 20 ° C) was different at different storage periods. Seed dormancy of seed stored 14, 28, 42 and 56 days decreased faster at a storage temperature of 20 ° C compared to 5 ° C. However, for seed stored 70 and 98 days germination was similar at both storage temperatures. The complete loss of seed dormancy at storage temperature of 20° C was established at 56th storage day while at storage temperature of 5° C dormancy loss was determinate after 70 days of storage.
