Abstract

Fosfor (P) je jedno od najvažnijih, a ujedno i najslabije dostupnih biljnih hranjiva u tlu. Biljke su razvile dva mehanizma efikasnog iskorištenja P: 1) sposobnost da usvoje P iz tla i 2) učinkovitost mobilizacije P unutar biljke za održavanje proizvodnje biomase. Ciljevi istraživanja su: i) usporediti koncentracije P u nadzemnim organima pšenice uzgojene u uvjetima normalne i smanjene dostupnosti P; ii) usporediti prinos suhe tvari pšenice uzgajane u uvjetima normalne i smanjene dostupnosti P; iii) odabrati potencijalne sorte s povećanom efikasnošću usvajanja P. Pokusom je obuhvaćeno 50 genotipova pšenice. Iz podataka analize duljine korijena, koncentracije P u nadzemnim organima i suhe mase nadzemnih organa izračunati su pokazatelji efikasnosti usvajanja P: relativna suha masa (RSM), relativna koncentracije P (RKP), indeks ukupne količine P (IUKP), relativna efikasnost usvajanja P (REUP). Rezultati istraživanja ukazuju na značajnu genotipsku različitost za svojstvo efikasnosti usvajanja P među istraživanim genotipovima.

Abstract (english)

Phosphorus (P) is one of the most important, and at the same time the least available plant nutriments in the soil. Plants have developed two mechanisms of efficient utilization of P: 1) plant ability to acquire P from the soil and 2) efficiency of mobilization of P inside a plant to maintain biomass production. The targets of this research are: i) compare shoot P concentrations of wheat grown in the conditions of normal and reduced phosphorus availability; ii) compare the yield of dry matter of the wheat that was grown in the conditions of normal and reduced P availability; iii) select potential genotypes with enhanced P acquisition efficiency. In this experiment 50 genotypes wheat were included. From the analysis of root length, shoot P concentration and shoot dry weight, different indicators of P acquisition efficiency were calculated: relative shoot dry weight, relative P concentration, index of total P content, relative P acquisition efficiency. The results indicated the existence of considerable genotypic diversity referring to P acquisition efficiency among the examined genotypes.
