Abstract

U radu su prikazani rezultati istraživanja morfoloških svojstava sjemenki marelice (Prunus
armeniaca L.), te njihovi odnosi. Istraživanje je provedeno na sjemenkama 6 sorata marelice:
'Gencika', 'Aurora', 'Carmem', 'Stark Early Orange', 'Kereški orijaš', 'Bergeron'. Mjerenja su
vršena pomoću digitalnog pomičnog mjerila i vage (visina, širina, debljina i masa), a indeks
oblika sjemenke je izračunat kao omjer visine i širine. Digitalna mjerenja vršena su pomoću
skenera i programskog paketa WinSEEDLE™. Analizom rezultata utvrđeno je da se sorte
statistički razlikuju u svim istraživanim svojstvima osim u svojstvu debljina sjemenke i
horizontalnom položaju sjemenke na slici iz gornjeg lijevog kuta (HUL). Najnižu vrijednost
za većinu istraživanih svojstava pokazala je sorta 'Carmen'. Rezultati dobiveni istraživanjem
omogućuju izvor brojnih podataka značajnih u morfološkoj karakterizaciji različitih sorata
marelice.

Abstract (english)

The paper presents the results of research into the morphological characteristics of apricot
seeds (Prunus armeniaca L.), and their relationships. The study was conducted on seeds of 6
apricot cultivars : 'Gencika', 'Aurora', 'Carmen', 'Stark Early Orange', 'Kereški orijaš'
'Bergeron'. The measurements were made using a digital caliper and beam scale (height,
width, thickness and weight), and the shape index of seeds is calculated as the ratio of height
and width. Digital measurements were carried out using the scanner and software package
WinSEEDLE ™. Analysis of results showed that cultivars are statistically different in all
investigated properties except in the attribute the thickness of seeds and seeds horizontal
position in the image from the top left (HUL). The lowest value for the majority of the
properties showed cultivar 'Carmen'. Research results allow the source of many important
data in the morphological characterization of the different apricot cultivars.
