Abstract

Zapadnohercegovačka županija bogata je krškim reljefnim oblicima, čija vrijednost i bogatstvo krških formi nije dostatno prikazana u prijašnjim istraživanjima. Spomenuto navodi na potrebu da se u ovom diplomskom radu prikažu svi krški reljefni oblici nastali na području Zapadnohercegovačke županije. Shodno tome cilj rada je istražiti i analizirati dosadašnju literaturu o egzogenim i endogenim reljefnim oblicima.
Areal koji se proučava je administrativna granica županije Zapadnohercegovačke koja obuhvaća četiri velika grada; Grude, Ljubuški, Posušje i Široki Brijeg. Postupak rada obuhvaća analiziranje postojećih karata, prikupljanje ortofoto snimaka, također i izlazak na teren koji uključuje opis geomorfoloških karakteristika Županije.
U završnoj fazi proučavanja prikupljeni podaci o geomorfološkim obilježjima uspoređeni su sa litološkim karakteristikama Županije. Takvim postupkom, utvrđeno je da na području Zapadnohercegovačke županije postoji pet tipova egzogenih krških formi i tri endogene, koje su opširno opisane u ovom diplomskom radu i potkrijepljene foto dokumentacijom.

Abstract (english)

The West Herzegovina County is rich in karst relief forms, the value and richness of which has not been sufficiently presented in previous studies. Thus, there is the necessity to present in this master thesis all karst relief forms that were formed on the territory of the West Herzegovina County. Accordingly, the aim of this research is to analyze the current literature on exogenous and endogenous relief forms.
The study area is the administrative border of the West Herzegovina, which includes four major cities: Grude, Ljubuški, Posušje and Široki Brijeg. The study research includes analysis of existing maps, collection of orthophotos and field trips that include description of geomorphological features of the county.
In the last phase of the study, the collected data on geomorphological features were compared with the lithological features of the county. In this way, it was determined that there are five exogenous and three endogenous karst forms in the area of West Herzegovina County, which are described in detail in the thesis and supported by photo documentation.
