Abstract

Krajobrazni urbanizam, kao predmet sve većeg interesa na globalnoj razini, smatra se načinom ponovnog sagledavanja velikih gradova i infrastrukture koja zastaruje. On naglašava integraciju prirodnih, strukturnih, kulturnih i infrastrukturnih slojeva urbanog prostora te sugerira preispitivanje aktualnih modela planiranja. Cilj ovog rada je definirati pojam krajobraznog urbanizma te prikazati nastanak, razvoj i njegove temeljne principe. U radu će se i preispitati primjenjivost ovog koncepta u domaćem kontekstu.

Abstract (english)

Landscape urbanism, as the subject of growing interest on a global scale, is seen as a way to look again at large cities and obsolete infrastructure. It highlights the integration of natural, structural, cultural, and infrastructural layers of urban space and suggests a rethink of current planning models. The aim of this thesis is to define the concept of landscape urbanism and to show the emergence, development, and its fundamental principles. The thesis will also review the applicability of this concept in a domestic (Croatian) context.
