Abstract

Sport ima izniman značaj u društvu i kulturi. Osim društvenih, zdravstvenih, ekonomskih i drugih dobiti sport može dati doprinos i u borbi s klimatskim promjenama u dijelovima koji se odnose na održivu potrošnju neobnovljivih resursa. Cilj ovog rada bio je ispitati ekološku održivost i učinkovitost nogometnih sportskih objekata u Republici Hrvatskoj kroz upitnik koji je poslan na 25 nogometnih klubova koji igraju Prvu, Drugu ili Treću hrvatsku nogometnu ligu. Anketni upitnik sadržavao je 25 pitanja koja se odnose na veličinu stadiona, starost objekta i obnavljanje. Drugi dio se odnosio na pitanja o održavanju travnatih površina glavnog i pomoćnih igrališta, te potrošnji vode, načinu upotrebe gnojiva i električne struje. Rezultatima anketnog upitnika utvrdilo se da su nogometni stadioni veliki potrošači vode i električne energije. U budućnosti će se morati znatno više uložiti u informiranost, znanje i edukaciju kako bi oni koji skrbe o sportskoj infrastrukturi bili upoznati sa svim mogućnostima unapređenja sportske infrastrukture koja mora biti energetski učinkovitija i ekološki prihvatljivija.

Abstract (english)

Sport has an exceptional importance in society and culture. In addition to social, health, economic and other sports, a contribution can also be made in the fight against climate change in parts related to the sustainable consumption of non-renewable resources. The aim of this work was to examine the environmental sustainability of football sports facilities in the Republic of Croatia through a questionnaire that was sent to 25 football clubs playing in the first, second or third Croatian football league. The survey questionnaire contained 25 questions relate to the size of the stadium, the age of the facility and renovation. The second part related questions about the maintenance of the grass surfaces of the main and auxiliary playgrounds, as well as water consumption, the method of using fertilizers and electricity. The results of the survey revealed that football stadiums are large consumers of water and electricity. In the future, it will be necessary to invest significantly more in information, knowledge and education so that those who take care of the sports infrastructure become familiar with all the possibilities of improving the sports infrastructure, which must be more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
