Abstract

Ispunjenje energetskih potreba stanovništva bez negativnog utjecaja na okoliš i živa bića postaje gorući problem s kojim se susrećemo. Cilj rada bio je istražiti potencijal u proizvodnji energenta - bioplina anaerobnom digestijom energetske kulture Arundo donax L. postupkom bioaugmentacije. Proizvodnja energije iz biomase prve generacije predstavlja sve veći problem u kompeticiji s proizvodnjom hrane zbog čega je nužno u što većoj mjeri istražiti i iskoristiti potencijal u proizvodnji energije iz lignocelulozne biomase, odnosno biomase druge generacije. Arundo donax L. spada u potencijalne sirovine za proizvodnju energije. Bioaugmentacijom selektiranih mikroorganizama u biokemijski proces anaerobne digestije energetske kulture Arundo donax L. nastoji se poboljšati razgradnja organske tvari i optimizirati proces s ciljem većih prinosa bioplina.

Abstract (english)

Meeting the energy needs of the population without negative impact on the environment and living organisms is becoming a compelling issue we face. The aim of this research was to analyze the potential in the biogas energy source production by way of using energy culture Arundo donax L. in biochemical process of anaerobic digestion with addition of bioaugmentation. The production of energy from first-generation biomass is becoming an increasing problem because of competition with food production, which is why it is necessary to fully develop and optimize the potential of energy production from lignocellulosic biomass or so-called second-generation biomass. One of potential lignocellulosic biomass for energy production is Arundo donax L.. Bioaugmentation of selected microorganisms into the biochemical process of anaerobic digestion of energy culture Arundo donax L. seeks to improve the breakdown of organic matter and optimize the process with the aim of higher biogas yields.
