Abstract

Svakim danom broj stanovnika raste što rezultira stvaranjem velikih količina otpadnih voda. Otpadne vode moraju se pročistiti kako bi se mogle koristiti u daljnjoj upotrebi. U procesu pročišćavanja nastaje mulj. Mulj sadrži više od 70% organske tvari, a obično se spominje u kontekstu otpada. Budući da mulj sadrži veliki udio organske tvari može se koristiti za uzgoj energetskih kultura. Jedna od kultura koja se može koristiti je miskantus. Miskantus se odlikuje jednostavnim uzgojem, visokim godišnjim prinosom i energetskim karakteristikama. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi energetske karakteristike trave miskantus ovisno o različitim gojidbenim tretmanima muljem. Laboratorijskim analizama i statističkom obradom podataka utvrdilo se da nema značajne razlike između različitih tretmana gnojidbe i kontrole kod istraživanih svojstava. Iako pravilnici o primjeni mulja iz pročistača otpadnih voda dopuštaju koncentraciju od 1,66 t/ha suhe tvari, ovim istraživanjem pokazalo se da nema nikakve značajne razlike u energetskim svojstvima miskantusa nakon primjene većih količina. Podaci u ovom istraživanju još jednom su potvrdili da je miskantus dobra sirovina za proizvodnju električne i toplinske energije direktnim izgaranjem.

Abstract (english)

Every day the population grows which results in the creation of large amounts of wastewater. Wastewater must be treated so that it can be further used. In the process of purification, sludge is formed. Sludge contains more than 70% organic matter and is usually mentioned in the context of waste. Because sludge contains a large proportion of organic matter it can be used to grow energy crops. One of the crops that can be used is miscanthus. Miscanthus is characterized by simple cultivation, high annual yield and energy characteristics. The aim of this study was to determine the energy characteristics of miscanthus grass depending on different cultivation treatments with sludge. Laboratory analyzes and statistical data processing showed that there is no significant difference between different treatments of fertilization and control in the investigated properties. Although the ordinances on the application of sludge from wastewater treatment plants allow a concentration of 1.66 t / ha of dry matter (DM), this study showed that there is no significant difference in the energy properties of miscanthus after fertilization with larger quantities. The data in this study once again confirmed that miscanthus is a good raw material for the production of electricity and heat by direct combustion.
