Abstract

Endogeni ruralni razvoj noviji je način promišljanja o poljoprivredi i ruralnim prostorima koji u fokus stavlja lokalne dionike i njihove potrebe. Njegova glavna značajka je nastojanje da lokalni dionici sami određuju svoj razvoj i pokreću razvojne inicijative. Jedna od mogućih razvojnih inicijativa je uspostava kratkih lanaca opskrbe koji omogućuju malim poljoprivrednicima da se odupru negativnim učincima globalnih lanaca opskrbe u kojima su zbog male ekonomske veličine u inferiornom položaju. Kako bi se istražili mogući pozitivni učinci kratkih lanaca opskrbe na razvoj ruralnih prostora, napravljen je pregled relevantne literature te su utvrđene snažne indikacije o pozitivnim ekonomskim, ekološkim i društvenim učincima. Kako bi se saznao potencijal primjene kratkih lanaca opskrbe u Hrvatskoj, provedeno je istraživanje među hrvatskim poljoprivrednicima te je utvrđena njihova naklonost prema značajkama i zahtjevima koje takvi oblici prodaje podrazumijevaju.

Abstract (english)

Endogenous rural development is a newer discourse in approach to agriculture and rural areas which focuses on local stakeholders and their needs. Its main characteristic is the tendency of local stakeholders to define themselves their development priorities and initiatives. One of the possible initiatives is the creation of short supply chains which enable small-scale producers to resist the negative effects of global supply chains in which their lack of economic scale puts them in disadvantageous position. In order to examine possible positive effects of short supply chains on rural development, literature review was done and it was found that there are strong indications of positive economical, ecological and sociological effects. In order to find out the potential for application of short supply chains in Croatia, research was conducted among the Croatian agricultural producers and it was shown that they exert positive attitudes toward characteristics and prerequisites that short supply chains entitle.
