Abstract

Predmet istraživanja ovoga rada je usporedba razvijenosti ruralnih područja Brodsko – posavske, Osječko – baranjske te Požeško – slavonske županije. Navedene županije istočne Hrvatske odlikuje važna uloga poljoprivrede u ukupnoj gospodarskoj strukturi pa tako i u ruralnom gospodarstvu. S ciljem određivanja jakih i slabih točaka ruralnog razvoja na području analiziranih županija korištena je višekriterijska metoda – Analitički hijerarhijski proces. U sklopu ove metode definiran je višekriterijski model usporedbe sastavljen od ekonomskih, demografskih i proizvodno-organizacijskih razvojnih pokazatelje poljoprivrede i ruralnog prostora. Županijom s najrazvijenijim ruralnim područjem određena je Osječko-baranjska županija koja je vodeća prema ekonomskim i proizvodno-organizacijskim kriterijima. Na drugom je mjestu Brodsko-posavska čiji su demografski pokazatelji bolji u odnosu na druge dvije promatrane županije.

Abstract (english)

The subject of this paper is a comparison of the development of rural areas of Brod - Posavina, Osijek - Baranja and Požega - Slavonia counties. These counties of eastern Croatia are characterized by the important role of agriculture in the overall economic structure and thus in the rural economy. In order to determine the strengths and weaknesses of rural development in the analyzed counties, a multi-criteria method was used - Analytical hierarchical process. Within this method, a multi-criteria comparison model composed of economic, demographic and production-organizational development indicators of agriculture and rural area was defined. The most developed rural area is in Osijek-Baranja County, which is the leader among the three analyzed counties according to economic and.production-organizational criteria. Brod-Posavina County is in second place, given taht its demographic indicators are better compared to the other two observed counties.
