Abstract

U radu je istražena anatomska građa latica četiri kultivara ruže različitih boja cvjetova. Kod svih kultivara epidermalne stanice su na adaksijalnoj strani latica bile čunjasto izbočene, dok su na abaksijalnoj strani imale ravne vanjske stijenke. Širina epidermalnih stanica je na adaksijalnoj strani uglavnom bila nešto manja nego na abaksijalnoj strani, no visina stanica se nije znatnije razlikovala između epidermi. Mezofil latica bio je rahle građe s velikim međustaničnim prostorima. Kutikula je na obje strane latice bila naborana. Nabori kutikule pružali su se u razmjerno ravnim ili valovitim linijama, a na abaksijalnoj strani latica formirali su i strukture okruglasta ili ovalna oblika.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis, petal anatomy of four rose cultivars with different flower colours were studied. In all cultivars, epidermal cells on adaxial side of the petals were conically shaped, while, on the abaxial side, they had flat outer walls. The width of adaxial epidermal cells was generally somewhat smaller than in abaxial epidermal cells, but the height of the cells did not differ markedly between the epidermises. Petal mesophyll had a loose structure with large intercellular spaces. The cuticle was striated on both sides of the petals. Cuticular folds stretched in relatively straight or wavy lines, and, on the abaxial side of the petals, also formed round or oval shapes.
