Abstract

Ovaj rad bavi se istraživanjem o mogućoj sanaciji i prenamjeni eksploatacijskog polja "Grota" u Istri, odnosno potencijalnim rješenjima transformacije degradiranog prostora u ekološki i društveno kvalitetan prostor. Višegodišnji procesi eksploatacije imaju značajan negativan utjecaj na krajobraz, život i percepciju lokalne zajednice i korisnika. Predložene smjernice i rješenja revitalizacije u skladu su s održivim razvojem, te su istražene tehničko-biološke metode pogodne za očuvanje bioraznolikosti flore i faune, uz predloženu višefunkcionalnu prenamjenu istraživanog prostora. Rezultati prikazuju važnost prenamjene napuštenih industrijskih i degradiranih područja, veliki potencijal lokacije za različite oblike turizma i pogodnost za brojne nove sadržaje. Predložena konceptualna rješenja nastavak su pozitivnih trendova, postojećih i planiranih sadržaja te mogućnost povezivanja lokacije na postojeću i planiranu infrastrukturu.

Abstract (english)

This paper explores the possible remediation and repurposing of the "Grota" exploitation field in Istria, focusing on potential solutions to transform the degraded area into an environmentally and socially valuable space. Years of exploitation have had a significant negative impact on the landscape, the lives of the local community, and the perceptions of its users. The proposed guidelines and revitalization solutions align with sustainable development and examine technical-biological methods suitable for preserving the biodiversity of flora and fauna, with a proposed multifunctional repurposing of the studied area. The results highlight the importance of repurposing abandoned industrial and other brownfield areas, the location's significant potential for various forms of tourism, and its suitability for numerous new activities. The proposed conceptual solutions continue positive trends, existing and planned developments, and offer the possibility of connecting the location to current and future infrastructure.
