Abstract
Ovaj pregledni rad bavi se vinogradarstvom i vinarstvom Portugala. Cilj rada je napraviti pregled vinogradarskih regija Portugala, klimatskih i pedoloških uvjeta uzgoja vinove loze, sortimenta i tipova vina. Uz to, obrađuje se proces nastanka dvaju poznati portugalskih vina, Porta i Madeire. U radu se objašnjava vinogradarska i vinarska povijest Portugala i problemi s kojima su se susretali, te važnost uzgoja vinove loze za Portugal.
Abstract (english)
This overview paper deals with viticulture and winemaking in Portugal. The aim of the work is to make an overview of the wine-growing regions of Portugal, climatic and pedological conditions of vine cultivation, assortment and types of wine. In addition, the process of creation of two famous Portuguese wines, Port and Madeira, is discussed. The paper explains the viticultural and winemaking history of Portugal and the problems they encountered, as well as the importance of grapevine cultivation for Portugal.
