Abstract

Rad pruža pregled štetnika koji utječu na ruže, ističući njihov utjecaj na zdravlje i prinos
biljaka. Raspravljaju se uobičajeni štetnici poput lisnih ušiju, ružinog cvrčka, običnog crvenog
pauka, osica, tripsa i kukaca koji napadaju stabljike, naglašavajući njihove destruktivne
prehrambene navike i prouzročenu štetu. Ruže, cijenjene zbog svoje ljepote i kulturnog
značaja, osjetljive su na ove štetnike koji mogu uzrokovati promjene boje, deformacije i
uvenuće. Učinkovite metode suzbijanja štetnika, uključujući kulturne metode, biološke
kontrolne agense i ciljano prskanje insekticidima, ključne su za očuvanje dekorativne
vrijednosti i održivosti ruža, osiguravajući njihovu dugoročnu vitalnost i produktivnost.
Razumijevanje i rješavanje izazova štetnika ključno je za očuvanje ekološke vrijednosti i radosti
koju ruže pružaju obožavateljima diljem svijeta.

Abstract (english)

The paper provides an overview of pests that affect roses, highlighting their impact on
plant health and yield. Common pests such as aphids, rose leafhoppers, spider mites, sawflies,
thrips, and stem borers are discussed, emphasizing their destructive feeding habits and the
damage they cause. Roses, valued for their beauty and cultural significance, are susceptible to
these pests, which can result in color changes, deformities, and wilting. Effective pest
management methods, including cultural practices, biological control agents, and targeted
insecticide sprays, are crucial for preserving the decorative value and sustainability of roses,
ensuring their long-term vitality and productivity. Understanding and addressing pest
challenges are essential for preserving the ecological value and the joy that roses bring to
enthusiasts worldwide.
