Abstract

Repičin sjajnik (Brassicogethes aeneus) najvažniji je štetnik uljane repice te je zabilježena
pojava rezistentnosti ovog štetnika na kemijske insekticide što otežava njegovo suzbijanje.
Beauveria bassiana entomopatogena je mikrogljiva koja se koristi u svrhu biološkog suzbijanja
brojnih vrsta kukaca. Istraživanje učinkovitosti B. bassiana u suzbijanju odraslih oblika
repičinog sjajnika provedeno je u laboratorijskim uvjetima u tri varijante i četiri ponavljanja
tijekom 14 dana. Jedinke su bile izložene sporama B. bassiana tretiranjem cvatova uljane
repice ili podloge s filter papirom te su mortalitet i pojava micelija praćeni svakodnevno.
Devetog dana postignut je potpuni mortalitet u svim varijantama. Uspješna infekcija
potvrđena je mikroskopskim pregledom micelija uginulih jedinki. Učinkovitost B. bassiana u
inficiranju repičina sjajnika iznosila je 75% u tretmanu cvatova i 83% u tretmanu podloge.

Abstract (english)

Pollen beetle (Brassicogethes aeneus) is the most important pest of oilseed rape, the
emergence of resistance to chemical insecticides in this pest has been recorded, complicating
its control. Beauveria bassiana is an entomopathogenic fungus used as a biological control
agent of numerous insect pests. The study on the efficacy of B. bassiana in controlling adult
pollen beetles was conducted under laboratory conditions in three variants and four
repetitions over 14 days. The beetles were exposed to B. bassiana spores by treating oilseed
rape inflorescences or a substrate filter paper, with mortality and mycelium appearance
monitored daily. By the ninth day, complete mortality was observed in all variants. Successful
infection was confirmed by microscopic examination of the mycelium on dead beetles. The
efficacy of B. bassiana in infecting pollen beetles was 75% in the inflorescence treatment and
83% in the substrate treatment.
