Abstract

Poznato je da različiti mamci, oblici i veličine vrša, kao i veličina oka mrežnog tega utječu na vrstu i veličinu ulova, no neki ribari na vrše postavljaju granje masline, rogača ili drugih biljaka koje prave hlad. Budući da još uvijek nema znanstvenih radova o utjecaju takvih pokrova na sam ulov i selektivnost vrša, primarni cilj ovog istraživanja bio je usporediti efikasnost ulova komercijalne vrše položene na klasični način s vršom koja je pokrivena biljnim pokrovom. Pored toga ispitan je i utjecaj vrste mamca na efikasnost oba tipa vrša. Istraživanje je provedeno u uvali Pećina u Šibenskom zaljevu, u razdoblju od 27.06. do 11.07. 2022. Tijekom dva tjedna korištene su po dvije vrše s pokrovom i dvije vrše bez pokrova na istoj lokaciji, u istim uvjetima, na dva tipa mamca pri čemu je prvih sedam dana korišten kruh, a drugih sedam meso dagnje. Podaci o ulovima bilježeni su svaka 24 sata, te se nakon dva tjedna količina ulova usporedila t-testom, a razlika u sastavu analizom sličnosti ANOSIM. Rezultati T-testa nisu pokazali značajnu razliku između količina ulova različitih tipova vrša i mamaca. Analizom sličnosti primijećena je statistički značajna razlika u sastavu ulova kod različitih mamaca, dok za različite tipove vrša nije bilo značajne razlike.

Abstract (english)

It is known that different baits, shapes, and sizes of fishing traps, as well as the size of the mesh of the fish trap net, affect the type and size of the catch. However, some fishermen place branches of olive trees, carob trees, or other plants on their traps to create shade. Since there are still no scientific studies on the effect of such covers on the catch and its selectivity, the primary goal of this research was to compare the catch efficiency of a commercial fish trap laid in a traditional way with a trap covered with plants. Over a period of two weeks, two traps with covers and two without covers were used at the same location, under the same conditions, and with two types of bait that were changed after seven days. Data on the catches were recorded every 24 hours, and after two weeks, the amount of catch was compared using a T-test, while the difference in composition was analyzed using the ANOSIM test. Results of the T-test showed that there was no significant difference between catch amounts of different types of traps and baits. The ANOSIM test results showed a statistically significant difference in the composition of the catch for different baits used, while no significant difference was observed for different types of traps.
