Abstract

Bolnice su stresna mjesta za djelatnike, pacijente i njihove bližnje, a jedan od mogućih načina
smanjenja razine stresa i povećanja razine ugode je boravak na otvorenom koji istovremeno
indirektno pridonosi ubrzanju liječenja i oporavka. Brojne studije i istraživanja dokazuju kako
zeleni vidici, prirodna sunčeva svjetlost i pristup prirodnom okruženju mogu poboljšati
psihološku i fizičku dobrobit pacijenta te smanjiti trajanje njihovog boravka u bolnici. Jednako
je važno napomenuti da dobro artikulirani vanjski prostori pogoduju bolničkom osoblju
pružajući im mogućnost odmora i sigurnog utočišta, što dovodi do povećanog zadovoljstva
poslom, smanjenja izostanaka s posla te u konačnici poboljšane skrbi o pacijentima.
U sklopu ovog diplomskog rada napravljeno je idejno rješenja krajobraznog oblikovanja
otvorenih površina u sklopu KB Dubrava, uz prethodno utvrđivanje zadovoljstva djelatnika
bolnice sadašnjim stanjem otvorenih površina uz bolnicu te uviđanje njihovih želja i potreba za
sadržajima u vanjskom prostoru bolnice. Prilikom izrade idejnog rješenja, utvrđeni su potencijali
postojećih otvorenih površina (za odmor, relaksaciju, terapiju i sl.), a konačan prijedlog rješenja
je s jedne strane proizašao iz postojećih prostornih datosti, a s druge strane iz stvarnih potreba
bolnice (potrebe svih zaposlenika, dnevnih i stacioniranih bolesnika te njihovih posjetitelja).

Abstract (english)

Hospitals are stressful places for employees, patients and their loved ones, and one of the
possible ways to reduce stress levels and increase comfort levels is to stay outdoors, which at
the same time indirectly contributes to speeding up treatment and recovery. Numerous surveys
and research demonstrate that green vistas, natural sunlight and access to the natural
environment can improve the psychological and physical well-being of a patient and reduce the
duration of their hospital stay. It is equally important to note that well-articulated outdoor
spaces benefit hospital staff by giving them an option to rest and a safe sanctuary, leading to
increased job satisfaction, reduced absence from work, and in the end improved patient care.
As part of this master thesis a conceptual design of open areas within the KB Dubrava is
developed, with the prior determination of the satisfaction of hospital staff with the current
situation of hospital open areas and recognizing their wishes and needs for different types of
spaces in the hospital. During the development of the conceptual design, the potentials of the
existing open areas (for rest, relaxation, therapy, etc.) will be determined, and the final proposal
is based on from the existing spatial data, and from the actual needs of the hospital (needs of
all employees, daily and inpatients and their visitors).
