Abstract

U ovome radu istražena je zastupljenost alergogenih drvenastih vrsta na zelenim površinama
uz domove za starije osobe na području grada Zagreba. Uz analizirane domove utvrđeno je
ukupno 89 vrsta drveća i 65 vrsta grmova iz 32 porodice. Najbrojnije vrste drveća bile su
Betula pendula, Pinus nigra i Acer platanoides, dok su od grmova najzastupljenije vrste bile
Lonicera pileata, Forsythia suspensa i Prunus laurocerasus. Među drvećem je 49% vrsta bilo
visoko ili izrazito alergogeno, a ove su vrste na analiziranim površinama obuhvaćale čak 63%
stabala. Među njima je u najvećem broju primjeraka bila zastupljena obična breza (Betula
pendula). Udio visoko ili izrazito alergogenih vrsta u ukupnom broju vrsta grmova bio je
znatno manji nego kod drveća te je iznosio 33%. Rezultati provedenog istraživanja pokazali
su da je prilikom odabira biljnih vrsta za uređenje zelenih površina potrebno više pažnje
obratiti na njihova alergogena svojstva, posebice kada se radi o površinama uz objekte kao
što su domovi za starije osobe, bolnice i sl.

Abstract (english)

In this thesis the presence of allergenic woody species on green areas near residential care
homes for the elderly in the city of Zagreb was studied. A total of 89 species of trees and 65
species of shrubs from 32 families were identified in the vicinity of the analyzed homes. The
most numerous tree species were Betula pendula, Pinus nigra and Acer platanoides, while
the most common shrub species were Lonicera pileata, Forsythia suspensa and Prunus
laurocerasus. Among trees, 49% of species was high or extremely allergenic, and these
species included as much as 63% of trees on the analyzed areas. Among these species, silver
birch (Betula pendula) was the most numerous. The share of highly or extremely allergenic
species in the total number of shrub species was significantly lower than in the trees and
amounted to 33%. The results of the research showed that when choosing plant species for
landscaping, it is necessary to pay more attention to their allergenic properties, especially in
areas near buildings such as residential care facilities for the elderly, hospitals etc.
