Abstract

Maslinarstvo je jedna od najperspektivnijih poljoprivrednih proizvodnji. Statistički ljetopis (2018) navodi uzgoj masline na površini od 18 683 ha, s prosječnim prinosom od 1,5 t /ha i ukupnom proizvodnjom ulja od 37 463 hl. Posljednja dva desetljeća obilježava povećano podizanje novih, obnova starih i zapuštenih maslinika, modernizacija i povećanje preradbenih kapaciteta i poboljšanje kvalitete maslinovog ulja. Na ovaj pozitivni trend utjecalo je više čimbenika od kojih treba istaknuti porast cijene maslinovog ulja, uvođenje novih tehnologija u uzgoju i preradi maslina kao i dovoljan broj suvremenih uljara.

Abstract (english)

Olive growing is one of the most promising agricultural productions. Statistical Yearbook (2018) states on olive cultivation area of 18 683 hectares, with an average yield of 1.5 t /ha, and the total oil production of 37 463 hl. The last two decades marked by increased planting of new, reconstruction of old and abandoned olive groves, modernization, and increase of processing capacity and improve the quality of olive oil. This positive trend was influenced by several factors, most notably an increase in the prices of olive oil, the introduction of new technology in the cultivation and processing of olives, and enough modern oil refinery.
