Abstract

Zbog posljedica klimatskih promjena na zapadnom dijelu otoka Korčule zabilježene su intenzivne suše tijekom ljetnih mjeseci. Masline su izložene stresu zbog nedostatka vode što utječe na dostupnost biljnih hraniva, a time i na prirod te kakvoću maslinova ulja. Istraživanja prikazana u ovom radu ukazala su na pozitivan utjecaj mikorize na rast, ishranjenost i prirod maslina. Isto tako, mikorizirane masline u tim istraživanjima pokazale su se otpornijima na sušu, na nedostatak pojedinog hraniva te na zaslanjenost tla. Cilj rada je istražiti utjecaj primjene mikorize i huminskih kiselina na količinu priroda maslina i randman maslinovog ulja sorte 'Lastovka' u ekološkim uvjetima lokacije 'Požar' u okolici Vele Luke na otoku Korčuli. Rezultati su pokazali pozitivno djelovanje mikoriznih gljiva i huminskih kiselina na prirod maslina dok učinak primjene na randman maslinovog ulja nije zabilježen. Primjena mikoriznih gljiva i huminskih kiselina osigurava ekonomski opravdanu i ekološki prihvatljivu proizvodnju maslinovog ulja.

Abstract (english)

Due to the consequences of climate change on the western part of the island of Korcula, intense droughts were recorded during the summer months. Olives are exposed to stress due to lack of water, which affects the availability of plant nutrients, the fruit yield and the quality of olive oil. The research presented in this paper has shown a positive effect of mycorrhiza on olive growth, nutrition and olive fruit yield. In these studies, mycorrhizal olives also showed resistance to drought, lack of nutrients and soil salinity. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of the application of mycorrhiza and humic acids on the olive fruit and olive oil yield of cultivar 'Lastovka' in olive-grove 'Požar' located near Vela Luka on the island of Korcula. The results showed a positive effect of mycorrhizal fungi and humic acids on the amount of olive fruit yield while the effect of application on the yield of olive oil was not recorded. The application of mycorrhizal fungi and humic acids ensured economically justified and environmentally friendly production of olive oil.
