Abstract

U uzgoju trešnje koriste se nove tehnologije, nove sorte koje imaju veću masu i bolju kakvoću
plodova. U Hrvatskoj trenutno je u uzgoju zastupljeno preko 70 sorata što autohtonih,
udomaćenih i introduciranih. Prema Statističkom ljetopisu (Statistički ljetopis, 2014) trešnje
su se u 2013. godini uzgajale na svega 884 ha. Ukupna proizvodnja iznosila je 6 046 t od čega
je 3 927 t bilo namijenjeno za tržište. U Hrvatskoj nedostaje najmanje 500 ha nasada trešanja
u kontinentalnom predjelu kao i 700 ha u području Mediterana, jer se radi o vrlo traženoj
namirnici za kojom raste potražnja.

Abstract (english)

The cultivation of cherries are used new technology, new varieties that are heavier and have
better fruit quality are used. In Croatia is currently in the breeding of more than 70 varieties as
indigenous, domesticated and introduced. According to the Statistical Yearbook (Statistical
Yearbook, 2014) a total of 844 ha was used for cherry cultivation in Croatia during the year
2013. The total production was 6,046 t, from which 3,927 t was for the market. Croatia needs
at least 500 ha of plantations in continental area and 700 in Mediterranean area, because it is a
highly sought-foodstuff for which demand is growing.
