Abstract

U Hrvatskoj se jako malo koristi hortikulturna terapija u svrhu pomoći pri liječenju. Osnovni razlozi su nedostatak potrebne infrastrukture (prostora za odvijanje hortikulturnih aktivnosti) i nedostatka educiranosti djelatnika takvog tipa terapije. Specijalna bolnica za zaštitu djece s neurorazvojnim i motoričkim smetnjama Zagreb (Goljak) također ne koristi hortikulturnu terapiju pa je cilj istraživanja bio utvrditi informiranost i percepciju djelatnika ove zdravstvene ustanove o prednostima i mogućnosti uvođenja iste u redovite terapijske aktivnosti (fizikalna i radna terapija ili senzorna integracija). Rezultati ukazuju da je većina djelatnika specijalne bolnice Goljak (62%) upoznata s hortikulturnom terapijom i njezinim pozitivnim utjecajem na ublažavanje stresa (98%) te da su spremni na dodatnu edukaciju (69%) kako bi je mogli primijeniti u praksi (81%) i time značajno unaprijediti opće psihofizičko stanje pacijenta. Na temelju rezultata predložena je izgradnja multi-senzoričnog vrta.

Abstract (english)

There is very little use of horticultural therapy in Croatia to assist whit treatment. The main reasons are the lack of necessary infrastructure (space for horticultural activities) and lack of education of staff of this type of therapy. Special hospital for the protection of children whit neurodevelopmental and motor disorders Zagreb (Goljak) also does not use horticultural therapy, so the aim of the study was to determine the information and perception of the staff of this health institution about the benefits and the possibility of introducing it into regular therapeutic activities (physical and occupational therapy or sensory intergration). The results indicate that the majority of Goljak Special hospital (62%) are familiar whit horticultural therapy and its positive impact of stress relief (98%) and are ready for further education (69%) to put it into practice (81%) and thus significantly improve the general psychophysical condition of the patient. Based on the results, a multi-sensory garden was proposed.
