Abstract

Jedan od ključnih problema današnjice predstavlja zaštita prirode i okoliša, koji je usko povezan i sukobljava se s gospodarskim razvitkom. Budući da je današnji pristup energiji neodrživ te predstavlja jedan od najzastupljenijih i najvećih onečišćivača ugljični dioksid, koji nastaje kao produkt izgaranja fosilnih goriva, primarno se treba okrenuti obnovljivim izvorima energije. Najveći doprinos u budućnosti se očekuje upravo od biomase. Njezino korištenje u energetske svrhe, osim smanjenja emisije štetnih plinova, može doprinijeti povećanju udjela obnovljivih izvora energije, otvaranju radnih mjesta kao i ostvarenje lokalne energetske samodostatnosti. Međutim, sustavu korištenja poljoprivredne biomase, poglavito one iz ratarske proizvodnje, zahtjeva oprezno gospodarenje ostacima, kako ne bi došlo do narušavanja organske tvari u tlu. Cilj rada je utvrditi (I) teoretski, tehnički i energetski potencijal toplinske energije biomase na pokušalištima Jazbina i Šašinovec, (II) potencijale biomase uvođenjem trave Miscanthus na dio površine pokušališta Šašinovec te (III) modele korištenja biomase za potrebe Agronomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu. Temeljem dobivenih podataka može se zaključiti kako Fakultet može proizvesti značajnu količinu energije koristeći vlastitu sirovinu.

Abstract (english)

The current key problem is the protection of nature and the environment, which is closely linked and conflicts with economic development. Considering that today's energy access is unsustainable and one of the most common and largest pollutants is carbon dioxide, which is produced as a product of fossil fuel combustion, it is primarily necessary to turn to renewable energy sources. Biomass is expected to make the biggest contribution in the future. Its use for energy purposes, in addition to reducing greenhouse gas emissions, can contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy sources, job creation and local energy self-sufficiency. The aim of this work is to determine (I) theoretical, technical and energy potential of biomass thermal energy at the Jazbina and Šašinovec trial sites, (II) biomass potentials by introducing Miscanthus grass to part of the Šašinovec trial site, and (III) biomass utilization models for the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the Faculty of Agriculture can produce a significant amount of energy using its own raw material in the production of thermal energy.
