Abstract

MHC (Major histocompatibility complex) sustav je glavni sustav tkivne podudarnosti čija je primarna uloga prepoznavanje stranih molekula koje prodru u organizam. Ovaj sustav molekula se nalazi na površinama stanica s kojih obavljaju svoju funkciju. Geni koji kodiraju ovaj sustav su specifični za preživače i kompleksne su prirode što je karakteristično za njihovu ekspresiju. Njihova kompleksnost proizlazi iz razloga što su nastali tokom dugih evolucijskih razdoblja pod utjecajem mnogobrojnih čimbenika i interakcija. Funkcija MHC molekula primarno ovisi o stanicama u kojima se nalaze i njihovoj kemijskoj građi radi koje su podijeljene na tri klase. Unutar klasa postoje dodatne podjele obzirom na ekspresiju njihovih gena koja još nije dovoljno istražena u svih pasmina preživača. Mnogo je složenih procesa u kojem ovaj sustav sudjeluje u organizmu od kojih su neki tek nedavno otkriveni. Ovaj je rad opisuje građu i ulogu MHC sustava molekula, te odgovorima na pitanje kako je on nastao. Osim navedenog, u radu su opisani razni procesi u kojima ovaj sustav sudjeluje kao i njegova ekspresija.

Abstract (english)

The Major histocompatibility complex (MHC) system is the main system of tissue compatibility whose primary role is the recognition of foreign molecules that penetrate the organism. This system of molecules is located on the cell surfaces of which they perform their function. The genes coding for this system are specific in the ruminants and their characteristic of expression is complex. The reason why they are complex is that they originate from long evolutionary periods influenced by many factors and interactions. The function of the MHC molecule primarily depends on the cells in which they operate and their chemical structure for which they are divided into two classes. Within the classes there are additional divisions with respect to the expression of their genes that have not yet been sufficiently explored in all breeds. There are many complex processes in which this system participates in the body, some of which have only recently been discovered. This thesis is focused on the structure and role of the molecular MHC system in ruminants as well as on the question of how it originated. In addition, the paper describes the various processes involved in this system as well as its expression.
