Abstract

Na otoku Ugljanu je trenutno u kulturi više od 100.000 stabala masline, no broj stabala u zapuštenim maslinicima je znatno veći. Obnovom starih maslinika otkrivaju se novi fenotipovi koji su ili morfološki slični već poznatim sortama maslina s otoka Ugljana ili predstavljaju novi fenotip.
U ovom radu su prikazani rezultati istraživanja morfoloških karakteristika, fenologije cvatnje i morfološkog steriliteta pet fenotipova masline s otoka Ugljana. Uzorci listova, cvatova, plodova i koštica su analizirani tijekom 2017. godine i dobivena zapažanja i mjerenja su obrađena odgovarajućim statističkim metodama. Analizom dobivenih podataka utvrđene su sličnosti i različitosti između sorata i unutar sorata.

Abstract (english)

On island of Ugljan there is currently more than 100.000 cultivated olive trees, but the number of olive trees in old olive groves is significantly higher. By restoring old olive groves new phenotypes are discovered which are similar to already known olive cultivars of Ugljan or represent a new phenotype.
This paper presents results of research on morphological characteristics, flowering phenology and morphological sterility of five olive phenotypes from island of Ugljan. Samples of leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds were analyzed during 2017. And gathered data and observations were processed with appropriate statistical methods. The analysis of the obtained data showed differences and similarities between and within cultivars.
