Abstract

Upotreba biomase u proizvodnim procesima doprinosi održivosti i smanjenoj ovisnosti o
fosilnim izvorima. Iako se biomasa sve više koristi za proizvodnju energije i različitih
bioproizvoda poput biokompozita, nakon njihove proizvodnje nastaju ostaci koje je potrebno
zbrinuti. Lignocelulozni ostaci imaju potencijal za iskorištavanje u obliku proizvodnje
obnovljive energije čime se postiže zbrinjavanje ostatka nakon korištenja biomase i osigurava
kružnost procesa. Cilj ovog rada je utvrditi prikladno zbrinjavanje ostataka Spartium junceum
L. nakon proizvodnje biokompozita, izgaranjem ili upotrebom ostataka kao sirovinu u
anaerobnoj digestiji. Analizom ostataka brnistre ustanovljena je donja ogrjevna vrijednost
16,65 MJ/kg s.tv., sadržaj pepela 2,25 % i sadržaj vlage 3,32 % po suhoj tvari, dok je
elementarnom analizom utvrđeno sadržaj N (0,3 %), C (49,29 %), S (0,27 %), H (6,61 %) i O
(43,54 %). Nakon provedene anaerobne digestije najveći prinos bioplina je iznosio 309,47
ml/kg.

Abstract (english)

The use of biomass in the production processes contributes to sustainability and reduces the
dependence on fossil sources. Although the usage of biomass is exponentially growing in the
production of energy and various bioproducts, such as biocomposites, after their production
there are residues that need to be disposed of. Lignocellulosic residues have the potential to
be used in the form of renewable energy production, which take care of the residue after the
use of biomass and ensures the circularity of the process. The aim of this work is to determine
the appropriate disposal of Spartium junceum L. residues after the production of
biocomposite, by combustion or using the residues as raw material in anaerobic digestion. The
analysis of the residues of Spartium junceum L. revealed a lower calorific value as 16,65 MJ/kg
per dry matter, an ash content of 2,25 % and a moisture content of 3,32 % per dry matter,
while an elemental analysis determined the content of N (0,3 %), C (49,29 %), S (0,27 %), H
(6,61 %) and O (43,54 %). After anaerobic digestion, the highest biogas yield was 309,47 ml/kg.
