Abstract

Mladi poljoprivrednici mogu pokrenuti strukturne promjene u poljoprivrednom sektoru. Međutim, u prosjeku na razini EU samo 6 % mlađih od 35 godina vodi poljoprivredno gospodarstvo. Unatoč postojećim mjerama Zajedničke poljoprivredne politike (ZPP-a), suočavaju se s preprekama koje otežavaju osnivanje ili preuzimanje gospodarstava. Stoga je generacijska obnova jedan od devet ciljeva ZPP-a nakon 2020. godine. Ovim radom se nastoje analizirati dosadašnje mjere generacijske obnove ZPP-a počevši od 1970-tih, njihovi učinci u zemljama članicama kao i prijedlozi budućih mjera za mlade poljoprivrednike raznih interesnih grupa i europskih institucija u okviru ZPP-a nakon 2020.

Abstract (english)

Young farmers have the competencies to initiate structural changes in agricultural sector. However, in countries within EU, approximately only 6 % of farmers under 35 years run their own agricultural business. Despite Common Agricultural Policy's (further in text: CAP) existing measures, they conquer many obstacles that aggravate establishing or taking over businesses. Hence is generational renewal one of 9 CAP's objectives after 2020. The aim of this thesis is analyzing CAP's present measures towards generational renewal, starting from 1970s, their impact in EU countries, as well as propositions of further measures for young farmers from different interest groups and European institutions within CAP after 2020.
