Abstract

Temeljem novih smjernica i legislative Europske komisije, posljednjih godina sve su učestalija istraživanja zbrinjavanja ostataka poljoprivredne proizvodnje i prerađivačke industrije. Korištenje tih ostataka za proizvodnju energije različitim termokemijskim procesima može zamijeniti značajan dio konvencionalnih izvora energije za gorivo, energiju i bioproizvoda. Piroliza je proces u kojem se pri povišenim temperaturama različiti oblici biomase i organski materijali pretvaraju u kruta, tekuća i plinovita goriva.
Cilj ovoga rada bio je istražiti primjenjivost rezidbenih ostataka breskve, nektarine i marelice u procesu pirolize, a s ciljem proizvodnje energije i proizvoda dodane vrijednosti.
Istraživanje je pokazalo da rezultati produkata pirolize – biougljena ukazuju na vrlo kvalitetna fizikalno-kemijska i energetska svojstva biougljena koji svakako ima potencijal za iskorištenje u poljoprivrednim i energetskim sustavima te su potrebna daljnja istraživanja.

Abstract (english)

Based on the new guidelines and legislation of the European Commission, in recent years there have been more frequent researches on the remediation of remnants of agricultural production and processing industry. Using these residues for energy production to various thermochemical processes can replace a significant portion of conventional energy sources for fuel, energy, and bioproducts. Pyrolysis is a process in which different forms of biomass and organic materials are converted into solid, liquid and gaseous fuels at elevated temperatures.
Objective of this study was to investigate the applicability of peach, nectarine and apricot pruning residues in the pyrolysis process, with the aim of producing energy and value-added products.
The research has shown that the results of pyrolysis products - biochar indicate the high quality physico-chemical and energy properties of biochar, which certainly has the potential for exploitation in agricultural and energy systems, and the necessary further research.
